on the 1,000th day

it's been going on that long

and remember, it wasn't about regime change

it was about finding and destroying weapons of mass destruction

funny how shit unfolds, in a 1,000 days of war

i hope they each rot in hell

(kudos to the english indo for their coverage of this story, especially for the way they publish articles on their website in column format)

I have never met a woman who isn't interested in star signs.

A friend of mine was a bit of a Nancy Reagan head and only ever dated men based on astrological compatibility. I kid you not.

Oh, I wanted to comment on the Iraq thing too!

What I find amazing about the whole thing is that in last year's Presidential Election, John Kerry was detrimentally portrayed as a 'flip-flopper'.

Hmm. OK George, how would you define this behaviour:

We're invading Iraq to disarm Saddam Hussein. Not buying that, huh? OK, it's about liberating the peopoil...er, I mean, people of Iraq. Still not there. OK, what else can I give ye...ooh: we're invading to create a democratic base in the Middle East.

Also: 'Saddam Hussein definitely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is procuring weapons of mass destruction'. [Fast forward a few months]. Er, we never said he definitely had them, just that we were pretty sure he did.

Consider this too: "I'm a War President". "Er, actually Mr President, polls show support for the war has plummeted, you need a new line". "Aw heck, Karl...OK: I'm a Peace President. Yeah that works".

Finally: I Love America and all she stands for. Now shut up whilst I trample on the Constitution to get elected, roll back your fundamental freedoms, make you afraid of everyone and everything for the totally wrong reasons, exploit the national pain for my gain and would you hicks ever get outta my way? The poor, defenceless fat cats and mega wealthy are trying to get a break. Aw, here's a tax cut.

Flip flopper?! At this stage, George could get a job with the Cirque de Soleil.
